"'The Continuum Hypothesis' by Epoch Of Unlight"
by

The return of Epoch Of Unlight is a welcome one. Their 2005 opus, "The Continuum Hypothesis" [The End Records], rejuvenates a stagnate Black Metal genre. Their unique brand of Melodic Blackened Death Thrash is both lush and powerful.

Complex, eerie, and intense: Epoch Of Unlight twists labyrinthine melodies into wicked glories. Shrill growls, harsh rhythms, and intricate and fierce guitars mix fluidly together into a sublime darkness. Brilliance thrives in the night....

The most compelling cuts include the euphonious fury of "Under Starside Skies," "The Scarlet Thread," the epic frenzy of "Aberrant Shadows," and "Denubrum." Epoch Of Unlight is relentlessly perfect.

Overall, Epoch Of Unlight is an act of beautiful aggression. Be in wonder. Stay savage. Farewell.
