“’Horror Of Realization’ by Scars Of Tomorrow” by Bill Vogel III
December 23, 2005 A.D.
Scars Of Tomorrow is a blistering definition of modern Metalcore greatness. Their 2005 opus, “Horror Of Realization” [Victory Records], is full of fire and brimstone. Fierce and relentless, Scars Of Tomorrow isn't another Emo wimp band.
Rich with melody and hook, Scars Of Tomorrow has a sound as solid as concrete. Groove-dense rhythms give the onslaught pure momentum. Shrill growls, yells jackhammer dance through powerful guitars. Scars Of Tomorrow is monumental.
The best cuts include the bestial brilliance of “The Autumn Bleeding,” “The Constant Horror,” the darkly euphonious “The Struggle,” and “Murderers And Madmen.” Scars Of Tomorrow is a revolution of snarling radiance.
...Get some new scars.
Overall, Scars Of Tomorrow is a brutal display of intense perfection. And they just keep escalating the aggression, and the artfulness. Stay savage. Farewell.
