"'Rope Tied To The Trigger' by Scars Of Tomorrow"

Another great California Metalcore outfit, Scars Of Tomorrow, has unleashed some serious hurt. Their 2004 opus, "Rope Tied To The Trigger" [Victory Records], is Moodcore/Metalcore at its dark finest. Scars Of Tomorrow leave sublime ruins in their earth-shattering wake.

Harsh growls eviscerate clean vocals, as fiery blasts of dense, sludge-drenched guitars are embedded with melodic groove. Rhythms are tight and chthonic in their massive crush. Scars Of Tomorrow is severe, radiant intensity in a cataclysmic epic to aggression.

The finest of these fierce miracles includes the blasting glimmer of "Abandonment," "Will Hell Arise," "To Watch You Burn," the punishing glory of "In Dying Days," and "From My Existence." Scars Of Tomorrow creates an indelible, bloody impression.

In summary, Scars Of Tomorrow are ferociously brilliant in their brutality. These are the scars that last.... Stay savage. Farewell.
