"'Slave Design' by Sybreed" by Bill Vogel III
July 29, 2004 A.D.
Insert BRUTALITY, goto INDUSTRIAL, end if equal to KILLER.... The band Sybreed borrows heavily from the programming of bands such as Fear Factory and Static-X, but still has a cool and unique dynamic. Their 2004 opus, "Slave Design" [Reality Entertainment], is solidly built Gothic/Industrial Death Metal that is as catchy as a virus.
Gothic vocals crown raging, abrasive growls. Crushing guitar blasts machine press expansive Industrial elements, and precision rhythms. Sybreed is a beast of killer, mechanized power.
The best of these bruisers includes the surreal severity of "Static Currents," "ReEvolution," "Bioactive," the synthetic hook of "Rusted," "Next Dsy Will Never Come," and the frenetic cadence of "Synthetic Breed." Sybreed is devastating Industrial the way it should be. This is epic brutality.
In overview, Sybreed is phenomenal to say the least. This is Reality Entertainment's best release yet. Stay savage. Farewell.
Related Bands: Fear Factory, Static-X, Dead World, Void, Candiru, Anorexia Nervosa, Killing Spree, Darkside, Perpetua, Spineshank, Prophecy, etc.
Keep the faith, and the AGGRESSION.
