From that radiant abyss where glory coldly fuses with monstrosity comes the mighty Shadows Fall. Their 2002 masterpiece, "The Art Of Balance" [Century Media Records], combines elements of Hardcore, Metalcore, and Melodic Thrash into the Death Metal soul. And it is ferocious to behold.
Clean vocals and growls are used interchangeably by Shadows Fall. Dense, melodic guitar playing blasts across oceans of pummeling rhythms. Shadows Fall keeps the edges sharp, and the aggression going....
The most vicious of these malicious cuts include "Casting Shade," "A Fire Burns In Babylon," the harsh beauty of "Stepping Outside The Circle," and "Mystery Of One Spirit." Shadows Fall balance the dynamics of their sound effortlessly.
Overall, Shadows Fall delivers a surgical strike of pure, dark Death Metal brilliance. Let the shadows fall.... Stay savage. Farewell.

Keep the faith, and the AGGRESSION. Piece.
